The Optris’ Xi 410 from Optris is a new infrared camera holding all the combined benefits of infrared cameras and infrared thermometers.
The Xi 410 is equipped with a fast Ethernet interface and can be powered by PoE. This enables a simple installation, even at a larger distance from the PC. The built-in hot spot finder function facilitates reliable measurement of moving objects without the need for repositioning the camera.
In case of network interruption or issue with the connected PC, the camera automatically switches to autonomous stand-alone mode performing a continuous measurement and alarm. This maintains a reliable problem detection, typically crossing the threshold in the context of monitoring a fire outbreak. As a result of this unique feature, the Xi 410 is well-suited for all safety applications related to fire prevention, detection of critical hot spots, industrial equipment monitoring, and storage of all kinds.
The Xi 410 is loaded with a motorized remote focus which can be controlled by the free PIX Connect software. The resolution of the camera ranges at 384 x 240 pixels with a frame rate of 25 Hz.
