The silicon-based NovaSensor NPR-101 Harsh Media Pressure Sensor's “Backside Absolute Pressure” technology is intended for harsh media exposure, removing the need for direct contact between the detecting circuitry and the applied media. An ASIC is connected to the device to produce a ratiometric output proportionate to the pressure delivered. Integrated diagnostics are part of it.
