The improved version is thought to have enhanced light responsiveness to the ISO 12,800 and would feature a switch on video facility for 1080i 60FPS and 1080p in a non-specific mode.

The image sensor would have been improved to a three-core supported chip which will be capable of exhibiting advanced high-quality imaging. Burst imaging with high-performance would be built up in the range of 3.2FPS to 5FPS including even the larger photos and the self focusing duration would be lessened by 0.1 seconds or even less than that using a lens sized about 14 mm to 140mm. A unique slow-motion function is likely to take the images at 40FPS with a less resolution.

The camera is expected to be released on 21st September, 2010.
