Adapting Lens Field-of-View or Image Format

Lens adapters from Resolve Optics Ltd. are characterised by their ability to change the field of view or image format of the lenses they are designed for, while maintaining high resolution, distortion-free images.

The Model 287 wide angle zoom lens adapter was designed to provide a true 0.5x field of view whilst maintaining minimal distortion and high resolution throughout the zoom range of your camera The excellent performance of this product was achieved by designing the adapter to work with the moving entrance pupil of a zoom lens. Adapters that are not designed for s specific zoom lens are likely to display reduced image quality and possibly clipping of the image through the range of the zoom.

The Model 287 lens adapter is an example of an adapter designed for a block camera with integrated 30x zoom lens. The 287 adapter offers full ‘zoom through’ capability resulting in high contrast images regardless of zoom position whilst still maintaining both resolution and focus to the very edges of the image.
