MSR is one of the fastest-growing owner-managed small/medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Bavaria. The BAYERNS BEST 50 (Bavaria’s Best 50) award from the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy was presented to owner and managing director Harald Schmitt by the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, at Schleißheim Palace near Munich.
For the 21st time, companies are being honoured for their innovative spirit, entrepreneurial creativity and future-proof business models. “Our SMEs make a significant contribution to growth and high employment in the Free State,” said Aiwanger. “With their substance and resilience to crises, they have made a significant contribution to the fact that the Bavarian economy is now taking off again after Corona.”
The award recognizes particularly SMEs that have been able to increase the number of their employees and their turnover above average in the last 5 years and are profitable." It is for companies that push the Bavarian economy, live entrepreneurship and take responsibility. The assessment was carried out by Mazars GmbH & Co. KG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft und Steuerberatungsgesellschaft (auditing and tax consulting firm) as an independent juror according to objective criteria.
The family-owned business MSR-Electronic has been able to increase its turnover above average in the last 5 years. In addition, more than 50% new apprenticeships and far more than 100% new jobs have been created at the company headquarters in Pocking, Lower Bavaria, during this time.
CEO Harald Schmitt accepts the award for his team from Minister of State Aiwanger with great pride and announces it to his team in the evening at the annual summer party. "There is no better opportunity to thank one’s staff for this award," says Harald Schmitt. "Having one’s fingers on the pulse of time and keeping an eye on the well-being of the employees are, among other things, important prerequisites for healthy and sustainable corporate development. The success of the company is directly related to the commitment of all colleagues - the goals are scored by the players, not by the coach," adds Schmitt.
