Ultrasonic Sensors Line Launch at BinMaster

The new BinMaster® ToughSonic TC-100 and TC-200 non-contact ultrasonic sensors include general-purpose and chemical-resistant models suitable for measuring distances up to 50 feet. These sensors are used for tank level measurement, remote monitoring, distance ranging, object detection, and agricultural applications.

The TS-100 series of ultrasonic sensors offer durable stainless-steel construction with heavy-duty electronics epoxy potted into type 316 stainless steel housings. TS-100 series sensors feature permanently attached cables and ruggedized piezoelectric transducers. They are offered in 14’, 30’, and 50’ ranges.

The TS-200 series ultrasonic sensors are made of chemical-resistant polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) plastic to resist deterioration from chemical exposure. Their heavy-duty electronics are epoxy-potted into a chemical-resistant plastic housing that physically isolates the transducer and electronics from the target material. They are ideal for vessels up to 14’, 30’, or 35’ tall.

ToughSonic sensors can detect the presence of objects or for distance ranging for conveyor load profiling. These durable ultrasonic sensors also play a vital environmental role in water monitoring for irrigation, flood, tsunami, and sea level monitoring. They have been widely used by municipal utilities worldwide for water and sewer monitoring.

BinMaster customers will benefit from having their liquid and solids inventory visible with one login to BinCloud inventory management software. These compact sensors integrate seamlessly into all BinMaster real-time inventory and level monitoring systems.
