B-Bridge has developed a brain scanning system called the Brain Athlete visor, which helps in scanning and logging live brain activity while participating in any contest or in sports.
This will mainly aid the athletes to gain concentration during their performance. The Brain Athlete visor features a pair of sensors integrated in the brim, with one to wrap around the ear. The Bluetooth transmitter will then relay the gathered information to the nearest laptop or computer system, in which the results can be evaluated.
B-Bridge states that the Brain Athlete is able to assist the user with activities such as tennis stroke, golf swing, and even help with the user’s performance in games like World of Warcraft. The Brain Athlete is accessible in Japan and its sale in US is likely to begin in 2011.
