Paramagnetic Oxygen Sensor Prevents Cell Degeneration

Hummingbird Sensing Technology recently declared that it has unveiled its Paracube Micro oxygen sensor.

The device is cost- efficient and reduces the need for overall maintenance. This makes it ideally suitable for incorporation into Fixed Point oxygen control solutions.

Hummingbird's Paramagentic Oxygen Sensor

The device has been specifically developed to be used in applications where saving lives is crucial, displaying high levels of linearity, precision and reliability, Its robust design makes for long life and it does not need constant and intermittent changing of electrochemical, galvanic or fuel cells. This helps to save maintenance and component costs. It also saves the cells from deteriorating since they need not be stored for future use.

According to Tommy Mikhail, key account manager at Hummingbird, the paramagnetic feature of the devices ensures that issues related to cell degeneration, calibration and maintenance and integration cause substantial overall costs. The device complies with ISO 9001 specifications, besides being ROHS and WEEE compliant.
