RFID Journal LIVE! is the industry’s largest and most comprehensive conference and exhibition. LIVE! 2014 is the best opportunity to find the right technologies for your needs, as well as meet industry experts and learn from companies that are solving business issues via RFID. Plus, you can hear from this year’s RFID Journal Awards winners, vote for the coolest live demonstration, attend in-depth training and so much more.
One of the key Farsens demonstrations will be the industry’s first full passive UHF RFID thermistor sensor (Pyros-TGT2-DWB), product selected as one of the ten finalists for the Best in Show award. It is compatible with EPC C1G2 commercial RFID readers and it can measure item temperatures in a range from -10°C to +120°C with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. The thermistor can also operate in an extended temperature range from -30°C to +300°C with an accuracy of ±3°C. Farsens has been selected as one of the ten finalists for the Best in Show award for the Pyros product.
In addition, Farsens will be showcasing a whole set of wireless, battery-free sensor solutions including:
-
Titan – UHF RFID bistable relay. Featuring a G6CU-2114P-US relay from Omron, it can wirelessly open and close electrical circuits (Max. Switching voltage (AC) 380 V – Max. Switching voltage (DC) 125 V – Max. Switching current 8 A)
-
Hydro – UHF RFID soil moisture sensor. It allows for moisture level monitoring in soil or other materials in intervals from extremely dry to extremely wet.
-
Magneto – UHF RFID magnetic field sensor. Featuring a LIS3MDL magnetometer from ST Microelectronics, monitors magnetic fields from ±4 gauss to ±16 gauss in three axis.
