100 years of Anton Paar
A century: Great people | Great instruments
The “Anton Paar” success story began on January 4, 1922, when Anton Paar started his metalworking shop. Back then, it was hard to imagine that this one-man metalworking shop would one day become a global corporation that currently has more than 3,500 employees. It’s not just the unique quality of their instruments, which they manufacture with exceptional craftsmanship and the highest precision. Above all, it’s the people at Anton Paar who approach their work with enthusiasm, curiosity, and engagement.
The Anton Paar Group is active in more than 110 countries with 33 sales subsidiaries and nine producing firms in Europe and the USA. Meanwhile, more than 3,500 employees in a worldwide network of research and development, production, sales, and support are responsible for the quality, reliability, and service of products made by Anton Paar. Since 2003, the Charitable Santner Foundation has been the owner of Anton Paar. It is dedicated exclusively and directly to charitable purposes. In 2020, the company generated net sales revenue of 387 million Euro.
