Pressure Sensor Ltd and Bluetooth Enabled Pressure Sensors - Sensors & Instrumentation 2018

Tradeshow Talks with Pressure Sensor Ltd.Booth C4

Please tell us a bit about Pressure Sensor Ltd.

We are a Hong Kong owned company, and we have our factory in ShenZhen, China. We also have a technology center in Virginia, USA, so we combine the US technology and development, with Chinese production.

I am the Sales and Marketing director, and I'm based in the UK. I actually work from home here because we feel it's important to have a presence outside of China, so that we can understand all of the different markets.

What products are you showcasing today?

We produce a wide range of pressure sensors; both custom and standard. Many of our customers are OEM, and we provide sensor solutions for. Our applications include medical, process control, HVAC, and machinery and equipment.

The product we're introducing on this show is also displayed on the innovation booth, and it is a Universal Sensor Meter.  It is a Bluetooth Sensor Meter, which works with both 4-20mA and voltage output sensors. There is a built-in LCD display with red LED backlight for local monitoring. Digital and graphic remote monitoring is accomplished via the Bluetooth interface, using an APP which is available for free download from the Apple Store. Application specific units, span, zero, set point and hysteresis band may be configured, and data can be monitored on the Smartphone or Tablet.

We also have a range of sensor based consumer products, which are sold into retail. We have tyre pressure gauges, combined tyre pressure and tread depth gauges, distance measurers  and tyre pressure monitoring systems, which enhance the range.

What makes these products unique in the marketplace?

The unique point of the Sensor Meter is the flexibility it offers as a result of its compatibility with both 4-20mA and voltage output sensors.

What are you hoping to get out of the conference today?

We're hoping to meet new customers and distributors all over Europe, and to build on the business we're doing with our existing customers.
