Level Sensors & Flow Meters from iCenta Controls - Sensors & Instrumentation 2018

Tradeshow Talks with iCenta ControlsBooth E6

Please tell us a bit about iCenta Controls.

iCenta Controls specializes primarily in the supply of level sensors, flow meters and instrumentation and control systems, to manufacturing, process and engineering industries. We supply our products across the UK and also overseas.

How do you feel the show has been going this year?

Well, I think it's been an interesting show so far. The first day is normally quiet with a bit of a slow start, but it's been building up nicely. The foot-fall is a little bit lower than I anticipated, but we've been encouraged by the quality of some of the leads.

There's been a nice mixture of end users; people from research and development sectors, universities. There have also been a number of OEMs. On the whole we are very pleased.

What do you think makes your products unique?

It's very difficult to have anything unique in this competitive market. But, the things we offer that stand out from the competition is our service and knowledge.

We've got an extensive and established support network, which sets us apart. Colleagues at work have been in the industry for a very long time.

We also have really good products. Our newer ranges are very innovative, and have some great, unique selling points. Obviously, on the other end of the scale, we've got some traditional, well established technology too. That combination of something that's quite new at one end, and established at the other, is a good mix.
