The MassaSonic® PulStar® Loop-95 Ultrasonic Sensor is designed for continuous non-contact level or distance measurement for solids or liquids. It is chemical resistant and built for operation in 4-20 mA loop power systems. The Loop-95 provides accurate operation and rapid 1 second sampling rate at application ranges from 8″ (200 mm) to 20′ (6 m).
The PulStar® Loop-95 works in 4-20 mA loop powered systems on 12 to 36 VDC and is built with a transducer that aims a high power, narrow 8° total beam for top performance in space-constrained arrangements and a range of target material conditions. For applications such as tank level monitoring, general process control, solid material bins and pile inventory, and sump level detection, this level transmitter delivers an exceptional performance/price value.
The new PulStar® Loop-95 is an all PVDF design, housing and transducer combination, for ideal performance in challenging environments. It offers IP67 level dust and liquid ingress protection, and is ideal for day tanks, outdoor use, and most standard use process applications found in wastewater treatment facilities, plating operations and factories.
Fully temperature compensated to deliver accurate +/- 0.1% measurements from -30 °C to 65 °C, the Loop-95 is a robust ultrasonic transmitter.
The PulStar® Loop-95 is field-proven dependable and has been employed universally on a range of base chemical and acid tank monitoring applications and with agricultural/fertilizers. The wide-ranging capability of this sensor makes monitoring of water tanks and chemicals for water treatment simple. Installation mounting is easy to achieve with the sensors 2″ (50 mm) NPS fitting and simple programmability and standard cable gland connection.
