Use Any Wireless Technology
Users can select the new 802.11AC access points from market leaders, such as Siemens, Aruba, Cisco, and more—and leverage their MIMO functionality for high-performance Wi-Fi, even in metallic process surroundings.
Users can also select from an array of other wireless technologies, like LTE routers, UHF RFID readers, and IoT gateways, such as WiHART, LoRa, or ISA100.
Easy Installation
Installation and maintenance can be done easily and more quickly as well. Users can make use of standard tools—the iSOLATE-CT Connector Transits and internal iSOLATE501 RF isolator prevent the requirement for barrier glands to install antennas. In addition, the antennas can be disconnected and connected live with minimal downtime.
The iWAP107 has been developed to withstand the most hazardous conditions and is highly robust, with IP66 ingress protection. While it is important that equipment is long-lasting, that does not mean it should take up excess space or be it difficult to install. The internal design of the iWAP107 packs plenty of functionality into a small space, with external outer dimensions of just 415 x 315 x 250 mm. The iWAP107 weighs in at around 30 kg for an aluminum option, and it can be easily maneuvered for installation throughout a range of locations.
