Teledyne LeCroy Introduces Adapters for Interfacing Third-Party Probes to its Oscilloscopes

Teledyne LeCroy today introduces two new products that provide simple and easy interface of third-party probes and current measurement devices to Teledyne LeCroy oscilloscopes. The first -- the TPA10 TekProbe?Probe Adapter -- adapts a wide variety of Tektronix?voltage and current probes and the second -- the CA10 Current Sensor Adapter -- adapts a wide variety of third-party current measurement devices.

FLIR Receives $19.5 Million Mobile Surveillance Capabilities Order from U.S. Department of Homeland Security

FLIR Systems, Inc. announced today that it has received a production order totaling $19.5 million for its Mobile Surveillance Capabilities (MSC) systems, the second option exercised for the procurement of additional units under its five-year firm-fixed price contract with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Lockheed Martin to Advance Satellite Sensing and Communication Technologies at Denver Facility

A new development center will advance satellite sensing and communication technologies, broadly known as Radio Frequency (RF) payloads, at the Lockheed Martin facility in Denver. The RF Payload Center of Excellence will focus on developing reconfigurable payloads and advancing satellite systems that many already rely on, from high-def television broadcasts to GPS transmissions and secure government communications.

Major Defense Contractor in Europe Purchases RADA's Multi-Mission Hemispheric Radar

RADA Electronic Industries of Netanya, Israel announces the purchase by a leading European defense contractor of a Multi-Mission Hemispheric Radar (MHR). This contractor is the second major European defense contractor that purchased RADA's MHR. The radar, which will be embedded in a test system by the contractor, will be delivered before the end of 2015.

Fraunhofer Researchers Developing Tracking Radar for German Space Surveillance System

Space debris poses a growing threat to satellites and other spacecraft, which could be damaged in the event of a collision. A new German space surveillance system, schedu- led to go into operation in 2018, will help to prevent such incidents. The tracking radar is being developed by Fraunhofer researchers on behalf of DLR Space Administration.
