Northrop Grumman to Produce Sensor Payloads for Fifth and Sixth SBIRS GEO Satellites

Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a $422 million contract from Lockheed Martin to produce sensor payloads on the fifth and sixth Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Geosynchronous Earth Orbit (GEO) satellites, known as GEO-5 and GEO-6. The U.S. Air Force's SBIRS provides the nation with continuous early warning of ballistic missile launches and other tactical intelligence.

Raytheon Announces Delivery of 10th AN/TPY-2 Ballistic Missile Defense Radar to MDA

AUSA 2014: Raytheon Introduces Enhanced Battlefield Global Positioning System Anti-Jam Capability

Raytheon UK is launching a new enhanced version of its battlefield global positioning system anti-jam (GPS-AJ) capability, Landshield at AUSA 2014. The new system will provide the highest integrity and most advanced anti-jam capability for simultaneous L1 and L2 GPS frequencies. Raytheon developed the new capability to address the U.S. Army's nascent Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) program of record, for which the company will deliver a number of systems for evaluation in early 2015.
