Stream, KERLINK Partner to Provide Enhanced Network Functionality for Carrier Grade LoRa LPWAN

Stream Technologies, a global leader in connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things, today announced a partnership with Kerlink who are the leading provider of LoRaWAN gateway products and Radio Access Network as deployed by Mobile Network Operators across Europe.

The Kerlink LoRa IoT Station is intended for M2M connectivity services and Internet of Things operators wishing to operate their network. It greatly simplifies the implementation of the network and the operation of the end-points, reduces infrastructure costs as it requires no repeaters, and makes compatibility with existing solutions and protocols possible.

The Stream IoT-X™ unified access connectivity environment providing the LoRaWAN Network Server will complement the Kerlink LoRa IoT Station providing comprehensive, secure management for connected devices, customer segmentation, and advanced services to help Network Operators monitor, manage and monetize their Private or Public IoT networks from a single interface.

The IoT-X environment offers fully featured subscriber management and provisioning, robust billing and rating engines capable of serving multi-tiered and multi-tenant channels, as well as advanced data routing capabilities. It can manage the connectivity of any device regardless of network type, providing a single, unified view of every relevant connection, whether it be satellite, cellular, Wi-Fi, short-range or LoRa LPWA. All IoT-X customers can utilize these different connectivity options which are already integrated to provide a comprehensive wireless IoT network from the sensor to the application. IoT-X and Stream Technologies’ unique IoT-Xlerate™ ecosystem help global enterprises and Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) reduce time to market by enabling quick, easy deployment of products and solutions which have been pre-tested and proven on the Stream network.

“It is very exciting for Stream to engage with Kerlink as a partner, their IoT Station is proven in the field and is already providing connectivity for IoT sensors across Europe. With IoT-X the combined offering will ensure that Network Operator customers can have a simple and cost effective way to commercialize their LoRa LPWAN’s for both secure private and public use and begin to drive scale as part of the LoRaWAN open ecosystem,” said Tracy Hopkins, Senior Vice President of LPWAN for Stream Technologies.

“Kerlink and Stream Technologies solutions fit perfectly together, and allow telco operators to manage a reliable solution that make possible to integrate a complete LoRa system in their network. Kerlink and Stream Technologies are two cornerstones of the LoRa Alliance, thus the partnership between our two companies has been naturally concluded” declares William Gouesbet, CEO of Kerlink.
