D-Link today announced it has won two TWICE VIP Awards. The Wi-Fi Water Sensor (DCH-S160) and HD Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-935L) were awarded by TWICE retail and distribution partners in the "Smart Electric Plug" and "Video Security Cameras" categories, respectively.
In its third year, the TWICE VIP Awards, hosted by TWICE online, allow retailers and distributors the chance to honor products that have made the biggest difference in their business. The awards are based on the product features, design and value to the customer.
"We look forward to the TWICE VIP Awards every year because it allows retailers and distributors to choose the winners," said Daniel Kelley, vice president of marketing, D-Link Systems, Inc. "We are honored to have both the Water Sensor and HD Wi-Fi camera acknowledged as products that offer the best features and value to customers."
"A big congratulations to D-Link for their two award wins," said Ed Hecht, vice president and publisher, TWICE. "All TWICE VIP award winners represent outstanding products that make a real difference to retailers and distributors, and have played a part in making the consumer electronics industry more innovative and exciting."
The Wi-Fi Water Sensor (DCH-S160) is a compact device that plugs into an open power outlet and alerts users with a loud siren whenever it comes in contact with water. The sensor can be placed near washing machines, sump pumps, water heaters, sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, or anywhere in the home where a water leak may occur. In addition to the audible siren, customers will also get push notifications with the free mydlink® Home app on their smartphones or tablet to ensure they're aware of a water leak no matter their location.
The HD Wi-Fi Camera (DCS-935L) is the ideal DIY surveillance solution, designed to help homeowners take a hands-on approach to home security. The camera delivers crisp HD 720p video quality and 11AC Wireless technology for improved range. Equipped with night vision, the DCS-935L provides up to 16 feet of vision in complete darkness and incorporates sound and motion detection with enhanced email alerting. The free mydlink Home app enables access to camera feeds from virtually anywhere and expanded remote control features including pinch-to-zoom viewing, drag-and-drop reordering of devices, and the ability to create still images from video feeds.
