Digital Stored Grain Monitoring and Control System

The new BinMaster Crop-Protector™ digital grain monitoring system is a state-of-the-art solution used to monitor temperature, moisture and provide aeration control to protect and condition stored grains of all types.

The advanced all-digital product line provides highly accurate, reliable performance and reporting with a long service life and lower total cost of ownership. The use of digital technology reduces temperature drift for precise, maintenance-free temperature sensing and long-lasting durability, while the two-wire system simplifies installation and requires considerably less wiring than conventional analog cables.

The product line includes temperature cables used to detect hot spots early that feature highly precise digital temperature sensors encased in a rugged polymer “low pull” cable. Digital moisture sensing cables protect the value of your crop by reducing losses due to spoilage from excessive moisture or shrinkage due to over-drying.

Aeration control is performed using data from moisture cables, temperature cables, and a weather station, allowing aeration to be initiated at optimal times and only when absolutely necessary to prevent shrinkage and reduce energy costs. A variety of communication options are available including communication of data to the web via BinView, to your PLC/HMI/SCADA system, or to Crop-Protector™ software for at-a-glance monitoring, setting of alerts, and automated aeration control.
