Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB:IMSC), a leading manufacturer of explosives trace detection (ETD) solutions for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) applications, today reported that the Company has delivered its first shipment of QS-B220 desktop Explosives Trace Detectors (ETDs) to airports across the United States.
These units are a part of the 1,170 unit order that was placed by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in November, 2014. The entirety of the 1,170 units is expected to be delivered across more than 40% of airports in the United States within Implant Sciences' fiscal year 2016, which began July 1, 2015.
