3D vision sensor provides real-time depth information for each pixel and captures more than 25,000 distance and intensity values in a single shot.
SICK, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of sensors, safety systems, machine vision, encoders and automatic identification solutions for factory, logistics, and process automation, today announced the 3vistor-T 3D vision sensor for versatile indoor use.
The 3vistor-T vision sensor features 3D-snapshot time-of-flight technology that provides real-time depth information for each pixel, even for stationary applications. The output can be either pure 3D raw data or reduced data, depending on the application requirements.
The 3vistor-T can record up to 30 3D images per second for distance values of 144 x 176 pixels per snapshot. The 3vistor-T also features a depth reproducibility of 3 mm and 30 mm at 1 m and 7 m distances respectively. The 3vistor-T captures more than 25,000 distance and intensity values in a single shot, which means that no actuator is required. In addition, the 3vistor-T has an IP 67 enclosure rating and is resistant to sunlight up to 50 klx.
The high-performance visualization tool and reliable 3D data output make the 3vistor-T ideal for a variety of applications within intralogistics, robotics, or industrial vehicles.
