Denmark-oriented Daimler Industri ApS, a supplier of Zytronic’s products, will be exhibiting the Projected Capacitive Technology (PCT™) based touch-sensing devices of Zytronic in the Elektronik-10 exhibition scheduled to be conducted at Odense. The PCT technology-based touch sensors facilitate public interactivity and features ATMs, digital signage, data kiosks, vending and ticketing facilities.
Daimler will be exhibiting the ZYBRID touch sensor of Zytronic, designed in various sizes in the order of seven inch or 18cm to 15-inch or 38cm with logos and screen imprinted borders furnishing a smooth glassy external framework. These unique sensors can be integrated with Panel PCs or LCDs, supported by the ZXY100 controller series. This also performs high-quality twin-touch as well as gesturing operations.
The reliable ZYBRID touch sensor to be showcased at the show is entirely customized and is accessible in different patterns ranging from five to 82-inches i.e. from 12cm to 208cm. The PCT methodology determines touch by means of an array of miniature capacitors that have been integrated in a covered substrate. The substrate is coated with a uniform dense layer of safety glasses to avoid water to leach into it thus satisfying the IP67 criteria. This inturn provides resistance against cleaning fluids, scratches, dirt and liquid spills which will lower the durability of the device, in comparison with the optical or resistive front zone touch screen solutions. These improved features permit their utility in extreme weather conditions and for all outdoor systems.
The Elektronik exhibition in Denmark, which will be conducted once every two years, will have over 200 participants and nearly 4000 visitors from various electronic sectors.
