Sensors Expo & Conference 2018: AZoNetwork Partnership

Sensors Expo is one of the largest events in the sensors industry, and this year it is coming to San Jose in California, on the 26th-28th June 2018. AZoNetwork will be attending all three days, along with over 300 exhibitors, and is pleased to announce and industry partnership with the event.

Bringing together the most significant collection of engineers and engineering professionals from across the industry, Sensors Expo has over three decades of experience and success. This unique event is wholly dedicated to sensors and sensing technology.

With over 6,000 attendees per year, spanning 40+ countries, Sensors Expo offers unrivalled networking access and allows the exploration of sensor technologies and their future challenges.

A huge number of speakers will be present this year, covering everything from IoT to Automated Vehicles. There will also be the following two keynote speakers. On Wednesday 27th June, Marc Pollefeys, the Director of Science at Microsoft, will be discussing ‘Sensor-Driven 3D Computer Vision and the Future of Human-Machine Interactions’. The next day, we will hear from Dr. Carol Stoker, an Astrobiologist at the NASA Ames Research Center, who will cover ‘The Search for Life in Our Solar System: Opportunities for Sensor Development’.

Not to be missed are the awards, presented throughout the show. There are three potential award categories available: IoT Ecosystem Connectivity, Engineering Excellence and Best of Senors Expo.

WISE (Women in Sensor Engineering) will also be running a program throughout the conference that is offered free of charge to all attendees. This year, it will include a keynote presentation and a panel discussion, as well as coaching and mentoring. It is a fantastic way to raise awareness of female contributions to the sensors community.

As an industry partner of the conference, AZoNetwork will be showcasing their ten websites and the opportunities they can offer attendees. They will also be speaking to exhibitors throughout the day and carrying out their press initiative, ‘Tradeshow Talks’. These are a series of small interviews, free of charge, that explore why businesses are attending the event and what technologies or services they are exhibiting.

Tradeshow Talks have already been rolled out at several other conferences, including MedTech Innovation Expo and Pittcon, with great success. Not only does it provide free publicity for attendees, but also generates interest around the brands and the event.
