Mopar has unleashed a novel Electronic Vehicle Tracking System (EVTS), in the market in three different versions viz; Base, Silver and Gold.
According to Pietro Gorlier, CEO and President of Mopar Service, Parts and Customer Care, the new EVTS assists in tracking stolen vehicles and also tracks the position of any vehicle anytime, anywhere. If the vehicle is going too swiftly, or too far away, then the system can transmit text messages.
This system is supported by the Guide point system, a ground-breaker in GPS-supported stolen vehicle recovery operations. The EVTS also provides nationwide tracking facilities, subscription free, i.e. a cut above the other tracking systems. It is available for Jeeps, Dodge and Ram Trucks and Chrysler vehicles, with a 16 pin data port for diagnostics.
The EVTS base plan provides a GPS stolen vehicle locater, a $1000 theft protection warranty, real-time GPS stolen vehicle tracking with a transferable and upgradeable system, all without involving any subscription fees.
Enhanced protection is provided by the silver plan, which comprises a 24/7 emergency service dispatch; security fence, a special feature allowing vehicle owners to fix distance and speed limits for their vehicles, which when exceeded causes a text alert to be sent to the EVTS owner; arrival/departure notification; automatic theft alerts; historic trace maps of the vehicle’s previous location; on-call, an on-board panic button, and online tracking.
The Gold plan in addition to the features available in the silver plan also has limitless online tracking, along with a complete concierge service permitting drivers to get directions and other help needed at the touch of a button on the EVTS registered owner’s cell phone. Both gold and silver plans are annual based renewable plans. but the gold plan can be obtained only at the time of activation.
