Foremost to Release Allen Key-Enabled Binder’s M16 Connectors

Foremost Electronics, a leading distributor, has released an advanced series of M16 connectors, developed by Binder.

The accession of the screw-mounted termination series of proven and improved Binder M16 model permits the easy installation or maintenance in the field conditions eliminating the necessity of a soldering iron. This unique property allows its utilization in devices that have been deployed in remote areas such as in industrial equipments and gas meters which encompasses pressure gauges, temperature sensors, torque sensors and in pro-audio, stage and theatre integrations.

The connectors will balance and can be completely exchangeable with the prevailing solder series and can be obtained throughout the entire M16 series including the IP67 series 423 as well as the IP40 series 581 connectors. An Allen key is provided along with each connector series for terminating interface wires.

The cable size of the Binder M16 series varies from 4mm to 8mm, is fabricated in nickel coated brass and contains screw-mounted termination contacts for cables within a range of 0.75mm², AWG 20, delivered in three, four and five pole pattern and the power supply ranges from 6 A to 7A. The gold-covered surfaces are capable of providing more than 500 contacting cycles, according to the company.
