New Photo-Electric Sensors from Schneider

Schneider Electric, a leading expert in the field of energy management, proclaimed the release of its novel photo-electric sensor called the OsiSense XUBT1, which is mainly configured for use by the machine fabricators in the bottling and packaging sectors.

The unique sensing device is ideally suited for various standard bottling purposes and facilitates the makers to identify manufacturers to detect translucent substances such as transparent wrapping films, colored glass and PET bottles.

With the advent of XUBT1, the company is supplying convenient sensors that can be integrated easily and deployed widely in conveying purposes and in jamming and flow determination in the beverage and food packaging industries. The sensor has a diameter of 18mm, functions in association with a reflector and can be installed easily on the production series employing a bracket. A user-friendly teach manual is equipped in the device and by simply pressing the "Teach" button, the identification features can be modified, wherein the triple LED display featured in the sensor simplifies the operations.

A sensing distance in the range of 0.8m has been maintained with the XUZ reflector and can be integrated easily using an M12 interface or a high-quality wire. The configuration can be done easily with the help of a teach manual which familiarizes the use of the reflector. The device meets CE, UL and CSA standards and is the new product belonging to the XUB series, which also covers the XUKT and XUBT sensors, and can be used with the frequently used materials.
