NEC Releases New MultiSync EX Monitor with Human Sensor

America-based NEC Display Solutions has launched the novel MultiSync EX monitor sequence featuring a ‘human’ sensing unit that is capable of detecting activity occurring in front of a monitor. The monitor consumes very less power during a long duration of inactivity.

The monitors incorporate the company’s environmental light sensing technology that helps in maintaining the brightness of the display based on exterior light sources. The carbon saving meter functionality records the greenhouse gas discharge decrements with respect to utilizing the sensing devices that can be modified by the consumer.

The initial version that has been launched in the novel product series is MultiSync EX231W model, with a 23” broad-screen LCD having Energy Star 5.0 compliant intensive resolution capacity. The total mass of the monitor is 9.3 pounds including the stand. It basically deploys nearly 31W power and utilizes only 16 W when operated in an ECO ModeT.
