IFM’s Stainless Steel Sensors Serve Automotive Sectors

IFM Electronic, a leading provider of sensing systems, has released dual-cabled R range stainless steel sensing devices for use with automotive sectors and its providers. The robust steel sensing surface permits the device to resist vigorous strucks. The M12 plugs are precabled on 300 mm wire for use in PNP or NPN systems and are configured for the consumers using dual-wire systems.

The shielding over the R series sensors protects them from the adhesion of welding splashes. Various open-ended wire series are available in 3 and 5 m length to the users based on their requirements. The strong and sensitive wires are flexible to perform accordingly based on the kind of operation needed. Its M18, M12 and M30 size ranges are also available based on the requirements.

All the configurations are of 40 mm length to adapt into restricted space and will furnish 4, 6 and 12 mm sensing ranges even when integrated in steel. The function of a green LED display is equilibrized by a subsequent LED red light that glows when the target reaches the last 20% of sensing area.
