P4Q Launches Suntrack 32H Solar Controllers for CSP Applications

P4Q Electronics, a leading supplier of solar power tracking systems, has launched its new Suntrack solar tracking controller called the 32H for concentrating solar power (CSP) purposes.

The CSP systems works on the precision characteristics of a controller in trapping the solar energy on the pipes in order to generate steam for propelling turbines, says the company. The Suntrack 32H device traps the energy employing the most precise algorithm that is accessible, explained P4Q.

The controller can be deployed in electric as well as hydraulic motors, and incorporates a connection that can easily be obtained using Ethernet or by wireless means. The product features the Suntrack Sensor package, encompassing a sun sensing unit, an absolute inclinometer and a thermal sensing unit. Various other sensing devices such as encoders and wind meters can be integrated by mounting them to the box even without opening it, says the company.
