Lios Technology, a leading supplier of optical frequency-domain reflectometry (OFDR) distributed temperature measurement solutions, has proclaimed its crucial alignment with Blacksburg-based Prime Photonics, a specialist in hazardous environment sensing systems, for military and commercial applications.
The significant advantage of this sort of collaboration within the providers of fiber optic enabled calibration solutions and sensing devices is to satisfy the user demands and to widen the horizons of calibrations enabling point-type and distributed evaluation, say both the companies.
Konrad Linckh, Vice President of Lios Technology, stated that they are greatly honored to deliver their services through Prime Photonics and that this alliance will permit Lios Technology to broaden its market value, help blending the application awareness with Prime Photonics and thus will offer an intensive series of calibration options.
According to Steve Poland, CEO of Prime Photonics, they see an increased demand for the LIOS distributed sensors in the US and that they are pleased to work over the important solutions and technological aspects that will be procured by the agreement with LIOS.
