Owandy Releases Visteo Intraoral Sensor

Visteo, an intraoral sensing device, which operates digitally, has been released by OwandyUSA. The Visteo is a digitally functioning X-ray sensing unit that deploys magnetic induction, associated with integral positioning and excellent 3600 angulator rotation. Its unique configuration facilitates dental imaging, providing flexibility to the practitioners and simplifying working with patients.

Anish Patel, Owandy USA’s CEO, stated that Visteo is an advanced intraoral sensing unit offering user-friendly magnetic induction, since the wire is not mounted and the sensing unit can be installed and detached using a snap. He added that the sensor is capable of rotating and is more convenient for patients, as the positioning using this sensor is gentle.

The configuration of the Visteo facilitates the practitioner and the patient with the use of user-friendly tiny sensors with rounded edges for the convenience of patients. The complete rotational operation of the sensor simplifies its reposition in the mouth of the patients.

The Visteo offers actual resolution higher than 20 pl/mm and has a configuration of seven fixed sensing positions or non-restricted positioning by means of its free angulation functionality. It also has parallel positioning or features additional positioning for the execution of bisecting methodology.
