CMOS Linear Image Sensors

LASER COMPONENTS is pleased to introduce the iC-LA and iC-LF series CMOS linear image sensors from iC-Haus. The integrating light-to-voltage converters are available with up to 1024 active photo pixels in a linear array.

The integrated control logic makes operation very simple, with only a start and clock signal necessary. A third control input (DIS) acts as an electronic shutter.

These devices are very affordable yet offer high sensitivity and uniformity over wavelength. Additionally, they are simple to operate, requiring only a 5 V supply voltage.

Typical applications include optical line image sensors, spectroscopy, distance measurement (via triangulation), and CCD substitute. We can offer evaluation boards to further assist with qualification.
