Quality Check with Gerber View

The new SANXO-Scope digital microscope debuted at the Innoelectro 2024 International trade fair. It supports manual inspection with Gerber file overlay viewing. With the addition of Gerber Overlaying functionality to the SANXO-Scope HD, you can now generate an image of the PCB from Gerber X3 files, including as many layers as your board requires.

After positioning the generated image in the camera’s view, you can make accurate and precise measurements of the board’s components and traces, allowing you to take your manual inspection to the next level.

Taking into account the camera’s calibration, the Gerber Overlay will be displayed at the same scale as the camera’s view, making it easier to compare the physical, manufactured board with the Gerber files.

Due to the layered nature of Gerber, we’ve made it easy for you to toggle between viewing the different layers, allowing you to focus on the specific elements you are interested in. Is your Gerber file full of components? That’s not a problem as you can change the opacity of the Overlay and also create an outline of your Gerber, making it easier to see the board’s components and traces.
