Canton-based, Alliance Scale has launched a novel mobile electronic balance that gets activated when gesticulating across the sensing unit to perform portioning, weighing, and counting operations, and also helps avoiding cross contamination.
The portable electronic scale device called Alliance/Ohaus Navigator XT is equipped with two contact-free infrared sensing devices that work autonomously, delivering a maximum of 36 combinations of operations without handling the keys. This unique device speeds up the functions and eliminates cross contamination. The constancy of the device is ¡Ü 1 second and is ideal for performing percent weighing, display hold, counting, checkweighing, and accumulation/totalization purposes.
The durable Alliance/Ohaus Navigator XT features an overload rating of about 400% and has a capacity of about 3.2 x 0.0002 lb. to 32 x 002 lb. It consists of a sealed keyboard; a 6-digit, 0.78 in., 7-segment LCD having a white LED backlit display; stainless steel pan with 9 x 6.9 in.; and an integral rechargeable battery having automatic shut-off functionality of about 100 hours of operation on full charge.
