Logitech has unveiled its new rechargeable Wireless Illuminated Keyboard, the K800. The K800 offers brilliant, defined illumination in any condition, by virtue of its integrated ambient motion and light sensors that supplies sufficient backlight depending on the requirement thus saving the battery whenever not necessary.
The K800 can modify the backlight, employing its light sensors, with respect to the level of the light in the room. The motion sensors are capable of tracking the motion of the hands and supplies backlighting while approaching the keys and turn it off while taking away the hands from the keyboard. This functionality provides brilliant, accurate illumination and saves battery life to about 10 days even without recharging.
According to Denis Pavillard, Logitech’s vice president of product marketing for keyboards and desktops, the K800 is ideal for form and function and that its unique features such as Logitech Unifying technology, intelligent backlighting, PerfectStroke key system and Incurve keys provide a modish and glossy pleasing package.
