The Xsenser Pro-P features a single use thermal pulp probe fixed to an Xsenser temperature and relative humidity sensor system, whereas the Xsenser Pro-SI saves thermal and relative humidity (RH) data at short periods.
The sampling can be done every 10 minutes using the Xsenser Pro-SI, avoiding the issues of overshooting for overcooled products or undershooting for under cooled or warm products.
Both the Xsenser Pro versions can be used for evaluating forced air cooling of fresh produce pallets. The data can be automatically communicated using wireless communications to the Xsense system in which the users can instantly observe the data onscreen.
It is not necessary to remove Xsensers after pre-cooling and thus they can be used for detecting the temperature of the fruit deep within the pallet. This is significant for sensitive yield since the detailed cooling of all the cartons in the pallet is a vital factor. For example the temperature of mangos, avocados, broccoli and sweet corn can be monitored in such a manner. The Xsenser Pro versions enable the cooling operators to regulate cooling period and thus save energy expenses.
The Xsenser Pro-SI is the Xsenser that is ideally suited for monitoring the temperature and RH in air freight and other short logistics applications. The live and rigid reporting period is crucial for cold chain conditions.
These Xsenser Pro sensor systems give a precise structure of the status of Xsense supervised yield while passing through different cold chain processes such as loading, transport, receiving, cooling, and distribution. The Xsenser Pro-P/SI double version is also provided by the company.
