Motorola has launched an innovative Xoom at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, featuring a barometer, for facilitating weather forecasts.

In addition to a barometer, the Xoom also features an integrated standard light sensing device, magnetometer,accelerometer and gyroscope.

This barometer helps calculating precise atmospheric pressure and aids short-term weather forecasting.This advanced Xoom will be the initial tablet to be launched in the market supporting an Android 3.0 Honeycomb, which is the latest version of the Android augmented for tablets.
