Pewatron’s HJ-A series converters offer standout performance by virtue of their digital interfaces, multifunctionality, and the lesser space they need for rail mounting.
The HJ-A series meters incorporate sensors for metering the root mean square (true RMS) of current for one to three phases.
Optionally, these sensors also measure the power factor cos ö, frequency, voltage, reactive power, and effective power, which is energy in kilowatt hours. These sensors are powered with 230 VAC, or 48, 24, 12, 5 VDC.
The results measured can be transmitted conveniently to a control system through a digital interface, namely, RS-232C or RS-485, for evaluation. This interface is isolated electrically from the measuring line, and if needed from the supply line also. These sensors are ideally suited for automation applications because of their high durability having an MTBF > 30,000 h.
