US Army Offers Contract for Advancing Sensing Systems

SAIC, a leading military contractor has reported that they will be sharing $400 million contract provided by the U.S. Army's research laboratory with seven companies for advancing sensing devices and various other electronic systems.

The research contract  for five-years with the sensors and electron devices directorate of the U.S. Army’s laboratory, is mainly aimed at the technologies employed in advanced RF technologies, flexible displays, and hybrid vehicles, besides other varied assignments.
