Defentect Group, a manufacturer and supplier of instant smart messaging software systems, has proclaimed that they have successfully accomplished the installations of GammaTect sensors at the Maryland-based National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda.
The GammaTect sensing units were incorporated along with the company’s proprietary DM3 tech system and are now completely operative. The products are marketed by N. Barrington-oriented Exigent Security Products and the company’s systems have thus been used in the government facilities, providing precise detection and responsiveness to radioactive substances.
This facility is one among the other standard medical sites in the country using radiological elements for patient treatments. With the increase in terrorist activities, the use of this system is considerably vital in tracing the person carrying or being exposed to radioactive substances and to guard appropriate medical substances from inappropriate elimination. Various other areas throughout the campus will be installed with the system soon, with the progression of the project.
James Ackerly, CEO of Defentect Group, commented that they are highly pleased to deliver such a vital security system, serving the US military and that their sensor-agnostic DM3 technology is the only reaction system that can be attuned with any other sensors in the market and thus helps serving government agencies like the military.
