Etegent Radar Technology to be Used in US Air Force Tracker Applications

Etegent Technologies, a company involved in high tech research and development, has received a contract from the US Air Force for the first phase of SBIR. Under the terms of the contract, the company will develop performance models for feature-aided trackers.

The company will use its existing technology in high resolution radar (HRR), synthetic-aperture radar (SAR), laser detection and ranging (LADAR), and vibro-metry sensors for customized applications. During this first phase, the company will prepare an analytical report on the working of the tracker, that algorithmically and mathematically described the integrated performance model and feature aided tracker..

The company’s primary job will be to track its knowledge of sensors, the specific environment of its deployment, and state of the target to accurately tap the capabilities of the target. The algorithm will determine how this knowledge can be deployed in various applications such as planning of offline missions and online confidence reporting and maximizing signal processing.
