NEMEX 2011 is showcasing two new releases in the field of light sensor technology for better energy management, the Control PRO range of presence detectors and ProLog lighting and occupancy measurement device from Steinel on Stand U11.
The Control PRO is ideal for open-plan offices, large conference rooms and even small spaces such as meeting rooms and offices and come in all common combinations (switching output, KNX/EIB, HVA output, DALI, 1-10V dimming output).
Control PRO
Designed to maximize energy efficiency, the unique setting capability of the Control PRO enables the user to use it in master/slave applications and benefit from its self-learning IQ mode. The low installation cost makes it ideal for use in both old buildings and new projects. Additionally, it can be controlled remotely using an IR remote control.
PROLog comes with an advantage: it drastically helps save energy and reduces an organization’s carbon footprint by lighting spaces only when it detects people in rooms. This measuring unit can be fitted easily below the ceiling at several points and records the monthly usage of the lighting usage, including occasions when the lights were left on accidentally. This data is then configured by the PROLog software to define the total energy savings accumulated over a defined period from 1 to 10 years with installed detectors.
All Steinel sensors are available in a Relux Design Package, which helps the user plant sensors into applications safely and by using the least number of sensors. NEMEX 2011 will take place from May 24 to 26, 2011, and visitors to the Steinel stand can view the latest range of RS Pro Sensor presence detectors.
