Collaboration Between Imatest, Graphin to Enhance Image Sensor Configuration

Colorado-based Imatest, a provider of software for testing of image quality, is collaborating with Graphin of Tokyo, a company dealing in evaluation suites for image sensors to enhance Imatest's Image Sensor (IS) Edition that accelerates the picture capture, testing and analysis cycle.

Imatest's product interfaces with Graphin's GPirates, facilitating quick and smooth configuration of image sensors with GPirates, and promptly checks the quality of the images using the IS software. This process is an iterative cycle that adjusts sensor registers, takes pictures, tests and analyzes the picture quality. The entire process is repeated until a suitable result is arrived at for each application and sensor.

The collaboration will ensure that pictures can now derive information directly from the sensor and analyze it, so that developers can maximize features such as clarity, noise and damage detection, color authenticity, ISO sensitivity and potential distortion.
