Controp, an Israeli company that manufactures payloads that are deployed in unmanned aircraft, recently launched its HD Stamp sensor.
The device will offer enhanced features for use in compact unmanned air vehicles that will allow authorities to monitor power lines for maintenance, besides other applications that call for greater clarity of images.
The company states that it had designed the first such HD sensor to be used in a compact UAV when it was deployed in more operations. The devices manufactured by the company have earlier been used by the Israeli armed forces aboard their UAVs, and also been exported to foreign clientele.
The range of compact gyro-stabilised payloads also incorporates the D-Stamp featuring a television camera for applications during the day, the U-Stamp that incorporates an uncooled infrared dual field-of-view camera to be deployed in applications during the night and the U-Stamp-Z that features uninterrupted zoom lens for applications during both day and night.
