Cameras, Hyper Spectral Imagers to Use Compressive Sensing Technology

InView Technology , a company that develops and produces computational imaging solutions, has declared that it has entered into an agreement for investment and development with In-Q-Tel, a strategic investment company that recognizes upcoming solutions that target  U.S. Intelligence missions.

The company’s imaging products are developed around its in-house Compressive Sensing technology. This ensures high-performance cameras and hyper spectral imagers to be designed with simple sensing patterns. Compressive Sensing technology replaces innovative math used in complicated units that enables cost- efficient cameras and hyper spectral imagers to be built featuring higher resolution. The technology is ideal for wavelengths that make it difficult for products to be cost- effective.

According to Syd Ulvick, who is vice president of the physical and biological technologies division at IQT, InView Technology has been consistently displaying its strength in strategic and innovative camera technologies. Its specific computational imaging design offers designers greater opportunities to develop enhanced camera products.
