Camarillo Upgrades M8 Sensor Connectors with Hexagonal Die-Cast Locking Nut

Camarillo, California-based Binder-USA, is an international producer and supplier of connectors and cordsets. The company recently incorporated changes into the design of its M8 over-molded connector in an endeavor to enhance its functionality.

The sensing device will now incorporate a knurled and hex locking nut. With the addition of this feature into the existing product, users will be able to tighten the connector with a torque wrench to allow for precise mating of the connecting system.

The improved device will feature connectors that have 3, 4 or 6 gold-plated contacts. The device will be able to handle up to 60V and up to 4A per contact. Once the device has been precisely and accurately mated, it is sealed in compliance with IP67 rating. Both the male and female cordsets are being offered in 2 and 5 meter lengths. Also being offered are the required mating receptacles and cable connectors that can be attached easily in the field also. The device delivers a comprehensive connecting platform.
