Status Instruments has released the STA206 sensor that is ideal for monitoring liquid temperature. It features an integrated transmitter and temperature sensor in a housing made of stainless steel.
The STA206 sensor can be programmed within a temperature range of -50°C to +200°C and is exclusively developed for industrial applications. Users can directly choose units, range and burnout direction by means of PC configuration, without the requirement for a calibration device. PC configuration is carried out instantly using the company’s USB-port-driven configurator. It is performed by linking two clips with the STA206 loop terminals and adhering to software guidelines.
Calibration set-up can be stored on the PC as a file for future retrieval. The sensor features advanced digital technology to assure precise drift-free functionality. The preferred range can also be included during the order time, thereby eliminating the requirement for user configuration. If the range is not mentioned, then the transmitter will be delivered with the standard range of 0°C to 100°C.
The STA206 sensor can be availed in three default immersion lengths of 150, 100 and 50 mm along with a BSP process linking of 1/2in.
