Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, specialist in industrial light, color and shape measurement, will display its new FD-Series Spectrodensitometers at the 2011 On Demand Expo in Washington, D.C.
The company intends to highlight its FD-5 and FD-7 Spectrodensitometers at the expo. The handheld, lightweight products consider the paper substrate’s fluorescence and measure color and density. They weigh less than 1lb and are the lightest spectrodensitometers in the world.
The Spectrodensitometers have original Virtual Fluorescence Standard technology that facilitates color analysis under the standard light source, Illuminant D50, used for color assessment by the printing industry.
The FD-5 and the FD-7 Spectrodensitometers meet the ISO 13655 M1 standard for fluorescence and color measurement. They also have Automatic Wavelength Compensation, a feature that automatically calibrates during white calibration.
