Palmer Instruments have come up with a new series of J-2000 Aero Type Differential Pressure Gauges. These gauges have a warranty period of 2 years and are available with authorised dealers of Palmer.
These gauges can be calibrated in units of PSI, Pa, kPa, inches of water, mm of water and cm of water. The measurements through this gauge are very accurate and stable with tolerances of ±2%. The pressure ranges, from which we can choose, are over a 100.
The J-2000 gauges are mainly used in HVAC applications as they offer frictionless movement. The response from the Aero Gauges is very quick to show low (positive or negative) pressures or differential pressure. Rubber film, being more sensitive to pressure changes, replaces the magnetic components in the gauge. Existing gauge designs encounter evaporation, freezing and levelling issues as their resistance to shock and vibration is limited. The new aero gauge offers resistance to shock, vibration and over pressures and hence is devoid of the above issues.
The new Aero Gauge facilitates the setting of easily visible, safe, warning and danger levels by use of patented safe-slide pointers available in green, yellow and red colours. The aluminium pointer has a red tip, which gives the user good visibility, even when placed at a distance.
Palmer Wahl Instrumentation Group is a pioneer in the field of manufacturing instruments for industrial process measurements. They started off in 1836 in Cincinnati, OH, and have many ’firsts’ to their credit in the temperature and pressure measurement products.
