Cypress Semiconductor has launched five new CapSense Design Guides that give extensive information on sensor design and methods of dealing noisy devices.
The user-friendly guides serve as reference handbook describing the CapSense technology and also the method of executing it in several peripheral products.
The guides feature a Getting Started Guide exclusively designed for those who are new to CapSense technology and covers major areas such as design consideration, PCB design principles and ideal procedures.
The four product design guides highlight on all series of CapSense controllers, optimizing the layout procedure for the CY8CMBR2044, CY8C20x34, CY8C21x34 and CY8C20xx6A series. Design guide of every series features links to the complete design network such as software tools, data sheets, development kits, application notes and other resources, enabling designers to quickly develop effective designs. The guides also help engineers in their design for the latest UI aspects such as water resilience and proximity. The guides can be downloaded from the company’s official website.
The Director of Cypress’s CapSense Business Unit, Dirk Franklin expressed his pleasure in providing enhanced experience for designers with their new Design Guides. He mentioned that the Design Guides along with their innovative SmartSense Solution offer a complete range of tools to engineers for developing latest designs based on proximity sensing and CapSense Technology. He further added that the guides will enable clients to find the required information for design completion, making the Cypress technology as a user-friendly and high-performance solution.
